4 DAYS IN PROVENCE
4 days/ 3 nights in a private Mas near Aix en Provence, in the middle of the vineyards (minimum of 2 persons)
This all-inclusive package itinerary focuses on the best that Provence has to offer in food and wine and on learning what makes this region so magical. Take part in cooking classes under the bilingual guidance Chef Marc Heracle, tour the famous Chateauneuf- du- Pape wine region along with other local wine producers; sightseeing in Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, and the Luberon Mountain villages. Visit local markets; eat in the area’s best restaurants and be guided through the hills filled with the scents of lavender, thyme, rosemary and sage.

This beautifully renovated and decorated farmhouse is located at the foot of the Luberon Mountain range in the heart of Provence, 25 minutes from either Aix-en-Provence or Avignon. The property includes a small private vineyard facing the house, and a large pool (6x12 meters). Enjoy views of the vineyard from the pool, from all of the bedrooms, and from the large terrace complete with barbecue room and traditional-style wood BBQ grill. Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival from Paris (mid-day arrival at Aix TGV).
You will be greeted by your Hosts and be directly driven to the center of Aix-en-Provence.
Enjoy a 2-hour walking tour of the sights in Aix and an hour or two on your
own to explore.
Return and settle in at Le Mas. Relax on the terrace or around the pool with a locally made aperitif.
You are then taken to a 17th century Chateaux, the home of Chef Marc Heracle who will teach the secrets of Provencal cuisine in a 2 hour cooking course.
Enjoy a tour of the domaine and then later sit down a three-course meal, complete with locally produced wine.
Day 2: Learn about and taste some of the finest wines worldwide.
After breakfast, you will be driven to the famous Chateauneuf-du –Pape wine region. You will begin by visiting a cellar hosting a variety of the elite wines of the region.
You will taste as well as attend a 1-2 hour “degustation” course.
Stop and dine at the reputable Le Verger des Papes restaurant and take in the views from their charming terrace.
After lunch you will taste at an additional cave in the region.
In the afternoon enjoy a few hours exploring the sights and streets of Avignon. Visit the Palais des Papes and the Pont D’Avignon.
Return to the Mas for a delicious Provencal meal including fine wines.

Attend a painting class
Learn the art of Boutis
Tour the Liberian’s ancient villages (Rousillon, Gordes, Loumarin)
Visit an olive mill
Experience the local markets.
Have us prepare a beautiful picnic basket loaded with regional specialties (champagne included) and enjoy the serenity of an afternoon under an olive tree.
Have a private, guided hike in the hills to find hidden ruins and learn of the area’s culture and vegetation.
Dine at the well-known Petite Maison in the village of Cucuron.
Day 4: Transfer to Aix TGV station for departure.
