who want to experience Paris together in an intimate setting. We share stories
and history about Paris geared towards making it really fun and educational for
kids ( we might even add a little quiz in at the end to test the kids ! ). Our
tour route is also very easy & safe, as we stick to bike lanes, quaint
one-way streets and bike paths along the river.

English speaking guide, will pick you up in Paris, at your hotel and drive you
to Versailles.
10am.
we will arrange a private tour of the castle , exclusive guided tour , with
your own guide. The tour will be also based on legends & stories of the
versailles history for the children, and depending on their ages, we will then
arrange a game as well.
11:15am.
If you wish you can view the training of the horses at the royal stables of the
castle.
Around NOON, we will then
stop for a lunch break , and take you to the wonderful Trianon palace for
lunch, on the terrace overlooking the park of the castle.
2PM.
A private carriage ride, will pick you up with also your guide AT THE
RESTAURANT, and will take you to the entrance of the park of the castle (Half
hour drive) - You will do a walking tour of the park with your guide, including

Day 6 : Paris to Normandy, stay in a fairy tale castle !
Check
out the apartment in Paris and our first stop will be at Giverny, the house of
Claude Monet , private tour of the house and gardens, where Monet painted the
famous waterlilies.
For
lunch, we will reach the Normandy coast , and the beautiful normand villages of
Deauville, Honfleur. Time on your own for lunch.
Time
for the kids to go for a swim as well if they wish , in the summer .
Afternoon
visit of a farm, and products of Normandy, calvados, apple cider and Cheeses.
Arriving in Bayeux, near the landing
beaches , we will visit the city and the museum of medieval tapestries.

by a one hundred acre estate with rivers, meadows and woodland, the castle stands
on the elevated site of an ancient, Viking fortress and, in the winter time,

quality of the cuisine matches the atmosphere. A selection of fine wines is

to say, local cheeses including Camembert and Pont l'Eveque are always

Day 6 : Paris to Loire !
Check out your HOTEL in Paris , and a driver,
English speaking will transfer you directly to the train station TGV high speed
to the LOIRE.
The high speed train is going to be fun for the
children ! 300KM per hour ! so fast !
Reaching TOURS in one hour from Paris , we will
have our driver guide, English speaking who will remain with your for 4 days ,
to pick you up at the train station directly.
Our first visit will be
the majestuous castle of Chambord. We will also visit the famous clos lucé (
the last home of Leonardo da Vinci ) so much fun for the children to view the
inventions of Da Vinci , and Amboise, tour of the oldest chocolate store in the

In Montrichard, board a canoe
and let the current gently take you all the way down the Cher from Montrichard
to Civray (app. 3 hours), with the best view ever on the most famous chateau in

We highly recommend you to bring your picnic and have lunch on the left bank of
the Cher, looking at the Chateau.
Keep on canoeing, pass under the bridge of the
chateau.
After less than 1 hour, in Civray, grab your

Day 3 : Full day Paris Private Tour (8h)

At French adventures, we understand how frustrating big, expensive, foreign cities can be especially for families travelling with kids. That is why we have designed our private family tours to accommodate the needs of families visiting Paris - outside of our public tour times. We'll go at your group's pace, change our tours to fit your itinerary, adapt our route for kids, stop at our favorite French bakery, and make Paris feel a lot more manageable in the process. It is great for families who want to experience Paris together in an intimate setting. We share stories and history about Paris geared towards making it really fun and educational for kids ( we might even add a little quiz in at the end to test the kids ! ). Our tour route is also very easy & safe, as we stick to bike lanes, quaint one-way streets and bike paths along the river.
Lunch break on your own, at your apartment or in Paris
children fun cooking class 3 to 5PM ( on Wednesdays) Learn how to make french crepes and mousse au chocolat !this is also a nice way to meet French kids and why not , speak a little bit of French ? and we will take the parents for a private walking tour in le Marais during that time. Transfers R/T apartment included, driver guide and transport for 4H
Day 4 : Versailles Castle & Park full day
DAY IN VERSAILLES FOR PARENTS & CHILDREN:
9am. Our licensed, English speaking guide, will pick you up in Paris, at your hotel and drive you to Versailles.
10am. we will arrange a private tour of the castle , exclusive guided tour , with your own guide. The tour will be also based on legends & stories of the versailles history for the children, and depending on their ages, we will then arrange a game as well.
11:15am. If you wish you can view the training of the horses at the royal stables of the castle.
Around NOON, we will then stop for a lunch break , and take you to the wonderful Trianon palace for lunch, on the terrace overlooking the park of the castle.
2PM. A private carriage ride, will pick you up with also your guide AT THE RESTAURANT, and will take you to the entrance of the park of the castle (Half hour drive) - You will do a walking tour of the park with your guide, including the trianons, hamlet of the queen, & then finising at the petite venise.
visit of the Potager of the King is fun to do with children, learn on how Louis the XIVth. had his vegetables & fruits grown in the park!
if time permits, rent a bicycle for one hour or fountains shows available to view on week ends only from April to September.

Day 5 : Paris private tour, Montmartre, lunch cruise
Visit the museum Orsay or Rodin, both museums can be visited with children tours either « Investigation at the Rodin museum « or « Impressionism drawing at Orsay » ( books are included , the tours are fun , on the Rodin ‘s tour the children must find the clue of a letter written by Rodin and discovering the museum that way- On the Drawing at Orsay the children have color pencils and will draw the impressionism inside the museum) – Transfers hotel R/T included
- Lunch cruise on the Seine river (12 :30PM to 2 :30PM) Service Premier, front of the boat
- Afternoon , visit Montmartre, have your portrait done by the artists of Montmartre (souvenir of Paris )!

Day 6 : Paris to Provence !
- private transfer from your
hotel in Paris with a chauffeured minivan , departure by high speed train with
assistance in English . TGV to Avignon is 2H45minutes from Paris ! First class.
- Arrive in Avignon, Welcome
to Provence ! you will smell right away the lavender and hear the
cicadas ! !
- Transfert to the city of the POPES, city tour of Avignon and a walking tour as well, the whole center of the city is pedestrian, great for shopping ! You will have the choice to stay in the center of the city, or we can also give you the oppportunity to stay in a traditional Mas of Provence, with pool , and gardens , may be a better choice with children. A rental is also a good option, French adventures will advise you on the best option for your family.

Day 7 : Provence, Luberon villages
After a nice breakfast on the terrace of your
hotel, your private driver guide will come to pick you up for a full day in
LUBERON
We will stop at the famous village of saint remy, then Roussillon, so
strange the color of the soil is orange ! ! ! Gordes,one of the most beautiful village of France !
We will stop for the Colorado
Aventures near Roussillon, inside the national park of LUBERON , for acrobatic
adventures through the forest ! Ballon ride at sundown from Gordes in the evening over the villages of Provence , you will see the lavendre fields ! dinner included in Gordes with your guide.
Back to your hotel late. No dinner included
 
 
Day 9 : One day in Camargue & Back to Paris
Breakfast and departure for the national park
of Camargue, famous for wild horses, and pink flamingos. Each year millions of
pink flamingos come from Africa to spend the summer here .
Horse ride through the
park and on the beach / Or visit the park bulls, and manades, typical farms of
Camargue. You can take a swimm if you wish on hour back, to Avignon and transfer to train departure late afternoon, for Paris
TGV back to Paris and
upon arrival driver to transfer you to your hotel in Paris
 
Day 10 : Paris Departure
