All these minivan tours are departing and returning from central AIX. One driver guide, English speaking and one minivan transport limited to 8 persons per tour. These tours are not private tours and require 2 persons minimum for departure. Private tours under request are available.

TOUR 1 : MOUNTAIN STE VICTOIRE + CEZANNE'S WORKSHOP BIBÉMUS QUARRIES
Departure : For Bibemus on sunday at 2 P.M.
for Cezanne's workshop on wednesday at 9 A.M.
We will take the "Route Cezanne", and pass by the "Black Castle". We’ll then drive to the mountain "Sainte-Victoire" immortalized by the master in his paintings and stop to enjoy the view. On wednesdays, we will have a guided visit of cezanne's worshop, living proof of the passage of the painter in our region (ticket included). On sundays, we will have a guided visit of the bibemus quarries where Cezanne painted many scenes (ticket included unless the tour is unaccompanied).

TOUR 2 : LES BAUX DE PROVENCE + MEDIEVAL CASTLE + WINE TASTING A.O.C
Departure : Thursday and Sunday 8 A.M.
We'll drive towards the Alpilles to arrive in the valley of the Baux de Provence. Along the way we'll pause to see an A.O.C olive oil mill. Later, we will experience the unforgettable spectacle of light on the mountains, olive trees and grapevines. Above us, on its rock, we'll see the Citadel of the Baux. You'll have an hour and a half to visit the village which is rich in 15th and 16th Century mansions, then onto the Castle (ticket and audio-guide included in the price, but the tour is unaccompanied). On the return journey we’ll pause at a cellar for some
local A.O.C wine tasting.

TOUR 3 : SAINT RÉMY DE PROVENCE + BAUX DE PROVENCE + ARLES (Van Gogh Tour)
Departure : Monday and Friday at 9.00 A.M.
You will have a day in the heart of the Alpilles mountain range, cultural center of Provence. We’ll start the day in Saint-Rémy de Provence were Van Gogh was hospitalized and where Nostradamus was born (we’ll take a 30-min pause). We’ll drive then by the Antics roman ruins that are still here after 2000 years, to reach the cloister Saint-paul-de-Mausole (ticket included but the tour is unaccompanied). There you’ll see Van Gogh’s bedroom and other sites Van Gogh painted during his stay in the psychiatric hospital (we’ll take a 30 min pause).
After a break for lunch (lunch is included if you have chosen the option), you will visit the medieval village of les Baux de Provence on its rock. We’ll then go to Arles (we’ll take an hour and a half pause) visiting the historic Gallo-Roman Center kept as a Unesco heritage site. You’ll discover the roman amphitheatre (ticket included but the tour is unaccompanied), the ancient theatre (visit optional), the Republic Square, Saint-Trophime Church, the town hall and the Forum Square.
Across the town, you’ll see 5 different scenes Van Gogh painted : The Draw Bridge, The Yellow House, The Stary Night on the Rhône River, The Outside of the Café at Night and The Garden of The Hospital where he was treated after cutting his ear off.

Discover the Cistercian Abbey of Silvacane and three perched villages in the heart of the Luberon mountain range.
We’ll visit Bonnieux and it’s panoramic terrasse (we’ll take a 15-min pause), Lacoste and the family castle of Marques of Sade (we’ll take a 20-min pause), and the colored village of Roussillon with it’s red cliffs (we’ll take a 20-min pause). You’ll experience colors and fragrances of fruit-trees, sun- flowers, lavenders fields, poppys fields, wine trees and more all day long. On the way back we’ll drive by one of the oldest roman bridges of France : Bridge Julien.

In the morning, we will visit the famous Pont d’Avignon or Bénezet Bridge, which has defied both the Rhône River and time, and inspired a song of the same name (ticket and audio-guide included in the price). We will then walk along the ramparts to reach the Cathedral Notre Dame des Doms and the Popes' Palace (ticket and audio-guide included but the tour is unaccompanied). After lunch (lunch is included if you've chosen this option), we will travel through the vineyards and pause at the famous Pont du Gard, the largest Roman acquaduct in existence (we'll take an hour's pause). Later, on our way back to Aix, we’ll pass by Tarascon and its castle on the Rhône River (we’ll take a pause).

TOUR 8 : FOUNTAIN OF THE VAUCLUSE SPRING + LUBERON
Departure : Tuesday and Saturday at 9 A.M.
We will visit the régional Park and its picturesque villages.
As we decend into the valley, "la Fontaine de Vaucluse" bursts out of nowhere. Our guide will help discover the freshness and mystery that makes this site unforgettable (we'll take an hour's pause).
We will then take the road that leads us to the régional Park of the Luberon before heading towards the Abbey of Senanque surrounded by its lavender fields (we'll take a pause for a photo).
Later we'll have lunch in one of the most beautiful villages in France, Gordes where we’ll take an hour and a half pause. Lunch is included if you've chosen this option.
In the afternoon, we’ll depart for the colourful village of Roussillon where we’ll have a 45-minute pause to discover the village, its red cliffs and the ancient open quarry (visit optional). We’ll then have a 5-minute pause in the village of Bonnieux, and 30-minute in Lourmarin with its 16 th Century castle

We will discover "la Canebière", the cathedral "La Major", "Panier Hill" and then "le Vieux Port" (we'll take a pause). Onto, "Notre Dame de la Garde"(we'll take a 30 min pause), seated at the top of the hill, with the most beautiful view of Marseille harbour and its "fort Saint-Jean and Saint-Nicolas". We will then go down towards "the Corniche" and eventually to the "Vallon des Auffes", a tiny fishing port which has lasted well against modern times (we'll take a 20 min pause).

We will drive through the massif of the Sainte Baume to Cassis, a little fishing port of the region. You'll embark on a 45-min cruise to discover the 3 "calanques" (fare included but the tour is unaccompanied). In Cassis we'll have some free time at the port before continuing on to "Cap Canaille" the highest cliff in Europe (399 meters, facing the sea), where we'll pause to enjoy the view.
