CAPRI ISLAND PRIVATE TOUR


A 5-hour car and walking tour around one of the most spectacular gems of the Tyrrhenian sea, discovered and appreciated in antiquity by the emperor Tiberius as his holiday retreat.

The tour includes:

Car pick up at Capri’s “Piazzetta” if your accomodation is in Capri.

If you come from Naples or Sorrento by ferry your guide-driver will pick you up in “Marina Grande,” main dock of Capri holding the sign of your name.

Transfer to Anacapri, which is the other section of the island. You will start your first visit at "Monte Solaro" and through the local chair-lift you reach the highest spot of the island to enjoy a dominating panoramic view of the Tyrrhenian Sea side overlooking the famous bay of Naples.

The island is a miniature, full of enchanting spots, source of fascination and much-frequented tourist resort, as is testified by the remains of imperial villas (villa Jovis built by Emperor Tiberius). Our next stop will be "Villa San Michele"*a charming church famous for its Maiolica art works.

We’ll then drive to "the Blue Grotto"* a cave so magically illuminated by the reflections of its water and light.

You’ll explore the grotto by boat* and have an unforgettable experience unique in its style. We'll then reach Marina Piccola where you enjoy the enchanting view of the "Faraglioni".

You will have Lunch in a typical restaurant,* on the coast, probably you don’t know that “Caprese cuisine” is one of the most exquisite in Italy.

Car at your disposal for shopping in Capri and back to "piazzetta " or to Marina Grande dock ready to take the last ferry for Naples or Sorrento Pier.

The tour is for a party of max 6 people; it includes private limousine-car transfers anf fluent English speaking guide/driver.
