Tour A - 2 day trip The Pearls of Bohemia and Moravia

1st day - Prague to Hluboka, an impressive neogothic castle, to Ceske Budejovice a well preserved 13th ct town/short sightseeing/ continue to Cesky Krumlov a UNESCO listed town accommod in a stylish *** hotel Barbakan/Straninger or a ****Bohemia Gold or Rose hotel

2nd day - In the morning city sightseeing by foot then 1hr trip to Trebon a lovely old town in South Bohemia. After lunch about 1hr drive through the rolling hills of Czecho-Moravian highlands to Telc a 13th ct impressive town, which boasts a spectacular square and a renaissance chateau. Telc is another UNESCO listed town. On the way back to Prague a short stop in 13th ct silver town Jihlava which has well preserved medieval fortifications and city gates.

Tour B - 3 day trip West Bohemian Spas and the Best of South Bohemia

1st day - We"ll drive to Karlsbad - Karlovy Vary visit the famous Moser museum ( closed Sat-Sun) and taste the hot mineral springs of the renowned czech spa famous for its parks and fin de siecle buildings. After lunch a 50 min drive will take us to Marianske Lazne - Marienbad. The city tours takes approx. 1hour we´ll see the ornate spa buildings the parks and the impressive “Kolonada” - shelter for pacients sipping the curative water, accomm in a *** hotel.

3rd day - In the morning a 25 min drive to Cesky Krumlov a 13th ct UNESCO listed town . Approx 2 hr city sightseeing by foot. The tour continues to Hluboka an impressive chateau built by the Schwarzenberg noble family. On the way back to Prague a 30 min stop to see another 13th ct medieval town Jindrichuv Hradec which boast a large castle and many gothic and renaissance houses. Approx 2 hrs drive back to Prague.

The trip continues through picturesque scenery of West Bohemia to Prachatice a well preserved medieval town. Short stop. Arrival to Ceske Budejovice, the hub of South Bohemia. Sightseeing by foot to see the main square and environs. Accommod in a *** or **** hotel.

3rd day - Morning visit of Ceský Krumlov a UNESCO listed town, visit of Hluboka chateau with very rich collections. 30 min drive to Trebon a picturesque South Bohemian town. Arrival to Telc 13th ct town - UNESCO listed. Overnight *** Hotel Celerin or Na hrazi

4th day - Morning tour of Telc renaissance castle, then proceed to Jaromerice nad Rokytnou which is said to be the Moravian Versailles - lovely french gardens. Visit of the baroque chateau included. On the way to Brno a short stop in Trebic to see a unique St. Prokopius 13th ct basilica. Overnight in Brno the 2nd largest town of the country, ones the seat of the margraves of Moravia *** hotels Slovan or Slavia or **** hotels Continental or Holiday INN.

5th day - In the morning a visit of “ Moravian Karst ” a natural preserve with impressive stalactite caves. Then the drive continues through wooded highlands to Litomyšl a picturesque medieval town where the famous czech composer Smetana was born. Short stop for sightseeing, tour of the castle included. The drive continues through East Bohemian region to Hradec Kralove the hub of West Bohemia. Short stop in the center to see its impressive old square. The drive back to Prague takes about 90 min.
