Tour G - 2 day trip From Prague to Nurnberg and Munich

1st day - After 2hrs drive we´ll visit Karlovy Vary - Carlsbad a world famous spa, tasting its mineral waters, inspecting its lovely parks and historical buildings. Then approx 40 min drive to Marianske lazne - second most famous czech spa a city of 20 000 inhab famous for its 40 mineral springs and the stays of Chopin or the British King George. Overnight.

2nd day - Short sightseeing in a 11th ct historical border town Cheb - Eger. We´ll proceed to Amberg a lovely Bavarian walled city and arrive in Nurnberg just before lunch.

1st day - After 1hr drive we´ll visit Melnik once a the royal town, which is a well preserved medieval town above the confluence of Vltava and Labe (Elbe) rivers. We´ll visit the castle of the prince of Lobkowitz then the tour proceeds to Terezin which was a german death camp. We´ll see the memorial and if interested the moving museum of the holocaust in czech lands . The drive continues to North Bohemia via Usti an industrial town on the Elbe river. Overnight in Hrensko a small tourist resort just by the German border.

2nd day - Approx 1hr drive to Dresden via a lovely German spa town “Bad Schandau” on the Elbe river. Panoramic tour of Dresden and its major sights. Zwinger, Frauenkirche, Chateau, Opera. Optional: possibility to visit Zwinger picture gallery - one of the finest in Europe. Continue to Meissen a pretty old town with a fine gothic church. The city where Meissen china was first produced. The drive proceeds to the beautiful town of Melk to see its spectacular baroque church and library, and the 1000 years old monastery we´ll return to Vienna following the Danube river.

5th day - Morning sightseeing in Vienna to see more museums and sights, after lunch departure to Hungary. The lovely historical town of Sopron will be see first. Approx 1hr stop. The drive to Budapest takes about 3hrs. Arrival to Budapest approx 5pm.

6th day - Full day of sightseeing in Budapest to see the great boulevards, the Buda castle and church of St.Mathew, Millenium square and the leisure parks. The citadell and its spectacular view of the Danube is also included, stop by Parliament buildings and Margaret island won´t be missed either. Old town and famous Vaci pedestrian str. will be inspected by foot.

7th day - In the morning more sightseeing or shopping will be offered. For art lovers there will be time to see the gallery of fine arts/individual visit/ then we´ll take you to Obuda and its ruins of a roman town Aquincum - a short stop by the ruins. The lunch will be offered in St.Andrews a picturesque artist villlages with many 17th and 18th ct mansions and churches. Lot of shopping possibilities. The tour continues along the Danube river to the imposing fortress of Visegrad a lovely viewpoint above the Danube river. Arrival back to Bud at 6pm.
